The release of the Iraq Study Group (ISG) Report on December 06 made clear that James A. Baker III was taking a cleaver to American resistance to jihad. The group’s recommendations have been pushed fervently. Adopting Baker’s proposals would be like throwing meat to sharks. It is certain, perhaps intentionally, to ignite widespread and devastating conflagrations.
The main joker in this deck is its proposal that America join the jihadist regime in Iran in a dialog that, according to Baker’s “blue ribbon panel” would help us disengage painlessly from Mesopotamia and bring peace to the region. Closing our eyes to Shiite apocalyptic dogmas and the imperatives of jihad, the central tenet of Islam as Ibn Hazim explained in the 13th century, Baker proposes giving the Butchers of Middle East virtually everything they want, — at Israel’s expense: the Golan Heights to Syria; a “Palestinian” terror state carved forthwith from Israel’s heartland; millions of Arabs “return” to their ostensible homes in Israel. Israel ceases to exist, America faces un-buffered jihad.
The Saudis and Mahdi, Sunnis and Shiites, rejoice. America loses its truest and most valuable ally and the region loses its economic engine and oasis of civilization. Peace and prosperity strike again. And all this will reinforce the impulse to sectarian violence, to violence for its own sake (study the Shiite cult of flagellation) that have led Baker’s Carlyle group to prosper. During the “War on Terror” their assets have grown from $1.3 to $12.5 billion. The group, termed, a revolving door from US government service to employ as lobbyists for Arabian states will please the House of Saud by keeping the meat grinders in Mesopotamia and west of the Jordan going as long as possible.
The report’s release coincided with Jimmy Carter’s latest book blaming Israel for everything wrong in the Arab world and Arab culture. Perhaps the Baker Institute for Policy Studies enjoys the largesse (tens of millions of dollars from the House of Saud, UAE, Dubai, Oman, etc) received by Carlyle and by the Carter Center at Emory University fifteen of whose Directors and faculty have resigned over the distortions, omissions and falsehoods in Carter’s book. As for the monies, Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld has documented these in the scores of millions. It also has been shown that in 1998 Baker evaded US sanctions on financial transactions with Iraq to collect $30 million in fees from Saddam Huseein for his Houston-based firm, Baker, Botts. What also can be shown is the true face of those with whom Mr. Baker would have us dialog.
The Joker in his deck is not pretty…
It’s the Holocaust-denial conference just hosted by Mr. Ahmadinejad in Tehran. It was so murderously threatening, so destructive to selling the “Road Map” and other “land for [fake] peace” processes that the major media kept the details out of sight. Here are a few of them.
Directed by Ahmadinejad’s advisor, Mohammed-Ali Ramin, the conference identified the Jews as “the group that has inflicted the most damage on the human race.” He supported his postulate by stating that the Jews were responsible for AIDS, SARS, and typhus because “historically, the Jews are a very filthy people.” The fact that such statements are not explicitly reported and denounced by America’s major media exposes the hypocrisy of their ”tolerance” and “sensitivity” shibboleths and raises disturbing questions about just what they’re quite willing to tolerate…
Mr. Ramin, who would dialog with us per Baker, fingered the Jews as the tool of an Anglo-American plot to “indict the Germans as being a nation that burns humans in order to deny Germans the ability to expand their power.” The holocaust was an anti-German plot so Iran wants to locate the site of its new “Holocaust Study Group” in Berlin (Iran is Farsi for Aryan; Persia changed its ancient name in 1935 so enamored were its elites of Nazi theories).
The Conference is madness that can’t go unchallenged. For the record, the British Foreign Office – military establishment did its utmost from 1920-48 to abort the Jewish nation. They fomented Arab riots, disarmed Jews, and, in the final perversion of their mandate to “facilitate Jewish immigration and settlement of Jews on the land” (i.e. Jordan and Israel) defined Jewish immigrants as illegal and kept the gates shut throughout WW II and the shoah. The BBC carries on where the guns left off.

Winston Churchill, who did much to jumpstart the Cold War he then so eloquently defined kept the gates to the Promised Land shut to the Jews whose cause he had often championed, in public during the 1920s and ‘30s. It was Churchill who separated the Gilead (“Transjordan”) from the Jewish National Home and forbade Jews to settle there. It was on his watch, as well as that of his successor, Labor’s Ernest Bevin (a hero of James Baker III) that the British trained and equipped the Arab Legion and “Iraqi” army that seized Judea and Samaria, and all of Judiasm’s holiest sites from the Jews in 1948.
So there was ironic justice in Ramin’s mad claim that the British had “killed 100 million Red Indians during the past three hundred years.” It was only America and Britain, he added, “with the help of France and Russia because of their animosity toward the Jews” that “created Israel with the hope that the Muslims would massacre them and get blamed for the holocaust.”
That’s the story of our putative interlocutors: the western powers created Israel so Muslims led by Iran could carry out the holocaust that never happened in Europe. The British diplomatic-media elite must love this cover job; they probably scripted it. Ramin closed by praising President Ahmadinejad for making Iran “the prosecutor of the west” re the shoah (memri.org special dispatch #1397). Then he claimed that “Islam believes in the equality of all nations”; yes, ‘equality’ under the Koran.
That’s the Joker, and a very nasty joke it is that the Mr. Baker has played on America, Israel and what remains of western civilization. By the way, Mohammed Ali Ramin claimed that Persia-Iran “has never been nationalistic.” For the record: the Persian Empire conquered and ruled the entire Middle East for two centuries, spent another millennium fighting over it with the Romans and Greeks and centuries more fighting the Turks for hegemony in Mesopotamia. So the man is a fibber. Just as in the Genesis story of Joseph in prison, this Butcher and Baker are a well-matched pair (Genesis 40 -43).
The holocaust conference exposes the dangerous foolery of the Baker report. Hopefully it will be discarded and regime change in Iran effected before more damage is done.
